Brian Cody, owner of Renaissance Salon & boutique, believes in the importance of enriching his customers through a unique salon setting that fosters community and positivity. Renaissance Salon & boutique first opened its doors in 1995 in visalia, and has been serving the Central Valley for over 15 years. Brian Cody took over ownership of the business in 2005, and since, has doubled the amount of operators and services available to patrons. He has also gotten the salon involved in a large amount of community service projects and has really capitalized on the effect 50+ people can have on a worthy cause. He opened Renaissance Salon & boutique in San Luis Obispo in August of 2011 and it is contiually growing. The wide variety of services and items available at Renaissance Salon & Boutique make it the go-to salon in the Central Coast. We strive to give you the best salon and spa experience possible, and commit to enriching the lives of every person that walks through our doors. |
Vanessa Conklin: Manager/Stylist
Vanessa has lived in the San Luis Obispo Area for 20 years and loves it! After getting a few degrees from Cuesta College, she decided to persue the Beauty Industry. She went to San Luis Obispo Beauty College and graduated in July of 2012. She has experience with doing hair and makeup for dance performances and competitons. She enjoys doing both hairstyling and skincare. Her favorite services to give are updo's, hairstyling, haircutting, facials and facial waxing. She continues her education through Renaissance Salon and other outside sources. She is enthusiastic, easy to talk to and ensures that everyone that comes to see her gets the full pampered experience!
Evan Anthony Stears: Stylist
Evan brings his unique approach to hair from a passion that involves both creativity and the pursuit of healthy hair. Having trained in such esteemed salons as Neil George Beverly Hills and Vidal Sasson, Evan combines classic shapes with modern textures. Specializing in cutting and conditioning treatments an appointment with Evan will have your hair leaving you healthy and stylish.

Melissa Elguera: Stylist
Melissa is originally from Southern California. She moved to San Luis Obispo September of 2012 after years of longing to live here! She is a fun loving, outgoing, and laugh's really loud! Melissa has been doing hair for over 12 years and loves doing color, cuts, and extensions. Color is her specialty. She can see a color and match it immediatlly even if she has to mix her own formula to make it. She loves the challenge, and looks forward to what she can bring to SLO!

Nicole Starlings: Stylist
Nicole is a native to San Luis Obispo County, born and raised in Los Osos, California. She graduated from Estes Institute of Art and Science in Visalia, California in 1999 and recieved her California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology the same year. Her professional training has included the San Jose Hair Show where she worked directly with Paul Mitchell, Lanza Texture Courses, none other than Tony & Guy Cutting Course and Three Bumble and Bumble Cutting Courses in New York. She has also acquired top of the line coloring techniques through Wella Color Courses. Nicole not only works with clients at the salon, but she is able and willing to go on location to consult and provide hair design for brides and their bridesmaids on their wedding days well as, able to maintain the fast paced ability to create hair styling for fashion shows. She is able to provide her expertise not only to woman, but to men as well. If you want more than just a cut an color but a whole expierence that will leave you walking away from the her chair feeling absolutely incredible!

Cristi moved to San Luis Obispo County as a young adult and has been passionate about the community ever since. Giving back is a priority so partnering with Renaissance Salon and Boutique is the perfect fit. She graduated from the Milan Institute of Cosmetology where she was trained in providing the full salon experience. Are you trying to grow your hair longer? Does your hair need a little TLC? Jericho Mora: Stylist
Jericho Mora has enjoyed over 20 years in the industry. He loves and continues to be inspired. Jericho worked for Wella and Sebastian while specializing in haircutting, design work and academy trainings. Competing on an international level Jericho placed in the Top Ten for creative cutting at Hair World in Milan. Today Jericho keeps a boutique hair stylist schedule working between LA, San Luis Obispo, and Carmel. Come stop by and enjoy this creative genius at work.
